Chocolate Truffle Loaf Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/2 c margarine .
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten .
  • 1/4 c milk .
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed .
  • 16 (1 oz) semi-sweet chocolate baking squares

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat 15 squares of the chocolate, margarine & milk In a large-ish heavy saucepan on low.
  • Step #2 Whisk in the eggs; cook 1 min keep stirring then remove this from the heat.
  • Step #3 Stir in the vanilla.
  • Step #4 Refrigerate 20 mins.
  • Step #5 Stir in 2 3/4 c whipped topping.
  • Step #6 Pour into a 8x4 inch loaf pan lined with plastic wrap.
  • Step #7 Refrigerate 6 hrs, overnight, or freeze 3 hrs until firm.
  • Step #8 Invert pan onto serving plate; remove plastic wrap.
  • Step #9 Melt remaining 1 square chocolate; drizzle over dessert.
  • Step #10 Garnish with remaining whipped topping.
  • Step #11 Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
