Peanut Butter Cake With Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c flour .
  • 1 tbsp vanilla .
  • 2 c skim milk .
  • 1 c butter .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 3/4 c peanut butter .
  • 1/2 c peanut butter .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 2 c white sugar .
  • Frosting .
  • 6 tbsps skim milk .
  • Cake .
  • 1 lb powdered sugar .
  • 2 large eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 For cake, 1 tsp baking soda, mix 2 c sugar, 2 c flour, & 1/2 tsp salt; set aside.
  • Step #2 Mix 1 c skim milk, 1 T vanilla, & 2 eggs; set aside.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil in a medium saucepan 1 c butter, 3/4 c peanut butter, & 1 c skim milk.
  • Step #4 After it comes to a boil remove it from the heat & add the sugar, & salt mixture, soda, flour, mixing well.
  • Step #5 Add the milk, vanilla, & egg mixture & mix well.
  • Step #6 Pour into a greased jellyroll pan or 2 9x13 pans & bake 20-25 mins at 350 degrees.
  • Step #7 Cool while preparing frosting.
  • Step #8 For frosting, 1/2 c peanut butter, bring to a boil 1/2 c butter, & 6 T milk.
  • Step #9 Remove from heat & stir in the 1 lb powdered sugar; frost cake as soon as possible & quickly.
