Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tsps low-sodium teriyaki sauce .
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce .
  • 2 tbsps water .
  • 1 1/2 tsps low-sodium chili sauce .
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium teriyaki sauce .
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded & cut into 12 strips .
  • 8 oz Canadian bacon, cut in 12 slices .
  • 12 medium shrimp, shelled & devined .
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium chili sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Place bacon on plate; cover with paper towel.
  • Step #2 Microwave on High 1 mins; pat dry with extra paper towel.
  • Step #3 Wrap one shirmp & one pepper strip in each piece of bacon; secure with wooden pick.
  • Step #4 Place in a 11 x 7 inch baking dish.
  • Step #5 Repeat with remaining bacon, shrimp, & bell pepper.
  • Step #6 In a small bowl, mix the teriyaki, chili & hoisin sauces with 2 Tablespoons water; pour over shrimp.
  • Step #7 Cover up & put in the fridge 2 hrs, turning once.
  • Step #8 Uncover & microwave on High 3 - 4 mins, until shrimp are cooked through.
  • Step #9 Let stand 5 mins before serving.
