Step #1 Slice French bread into 20 slices, 1-inch thick each.
Step #2 (Use any extra bread for garlic toast or bread crumbs).
Step #3 Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9 by 13-inch flat baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping the slices.
Step #4 In a large bowl, milk, cinnamon, sugar, mix the eggs, vanilla, half-and-half, nutmeg & salt & beat with a rotary beater or whisk until mixed but not too bubbly.
Step #5 Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure all are covered evenly with the milk-egg mixture.
Step #6 Spoon some of the mixture in between the slices.
Step #7 Cover up with foil wrap & put in the fridge overnight.
Step #8 The next day, preheat your trusty oven to 350 degrees F.
Step #9 Spread Praline Topping evenly over the bread & bake for 45 mins, until puffed & lightly golden.

Step #12 Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl & mix well.
Step #13 Spread over bread as directed above.

Step #15 Combine ingredients in a small saucepan & place over med-heat/flame.
Step #16 Stir until warm & thinned out like syrup.
