Step #1 In a medium saucepan, bring the broth & 3/4 c water to a boil.
Step #2 Stir in the rice, cover & cook over low heat/flame for about 18 mins.
Step #3 Alternatively, use a rice cooker to prepare the rice.
Step #4 In a large, deep nonstick skillet or wok, heat 2 tbsps oil over high heat.
Step #5 Spice up the pork with salt, pepper & the five-spice powder.
Step #6 Add to the pan & stir-fry for 3 mins.
Step #7 Transfer to a plate.
Step #8 Heat 1 tbsp oil in the skillet, then add the eggs & scramble for 2 mins.
Step #9 Push the eggs to the side of the pan, add the remaining 2 tbsps oil & lower the heat to medium.
Step #10 Add red bell pepper & carrots & stir-fry for 2 mins.
Step #11 Add the scallion, peas, garlic & ginger & stir-fry for 1 min.
Step #12 Add the cooked rice & crisp it for a couple of mins.
Step #13 Stir in the tamari & reserved pork.
