Applesauce-glazed Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 10 Apples; cored, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 1 md Lemon; squeezed into a potful of water,

Directions
  • Step #1 I make applesauce weekly in the Fall.
  • Step #2 It's so easy & tastes so much better than the bottled stuff.
  • Step #3 Here's the "recipe".
  • Step #4 (mixture of Macintosh & Yellow Delicious works well - the Macs cook faster, cover with plastic wrap, & then drained Place the apples & water in a microwave save container, so you get a lumpy mixture)- dipped into the lemon-water, & microwave for 15 mins.
  • Step #5 Stir & mash on the apples to break them up a bit.
  • Step #6 Microwave for 5-10 mmins longer until the applesauce is the consistency you like.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top on 1 to 2 tbsps brown sugar, and a sprinkling of cinnamon- both sugar & cinnamon are to taste.
  • Step #8 Stir, cool & put in the fridge.
