Step #4 Cook over low heat/flame, stirring every once in awhile with a wooden spoon, until mixture becomes a thick puree, 15 to 20 mins.
Step #5 remove this from heat & beat until smooth.
Step #6 Transfer mixture to a plate & spread into an even circle, allow this to cool.
Step #7 Divide mixture into 24 equal pieces & roll each into a ball.
Step #8 Coat with sliced nuts & place this in small petit four papers if desired.
Step #9 store this in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
