Banana Tart With A Passion Fruit Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 9 1/2 oz Butter
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 Bananas; thinly sliced
  • Confectioners sugar
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • Honey
  • 4 ts Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c Pecan halves
  • 1/2 c sliced pecans
  • 4 1/2 oz Sugar
  • 1/3 ts Salt
  • 12 oz Flour

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 In large bowl beat butter & sugar until well creamed.
  • Step #3 Add egg yolks & vanilla, mix until mixd.
  • Step #4 Slowly add salt, flour & sliced pecans.
  • Step #5 Mixture should begin forming into dough.
  • Step #6 Chill.
  • Step #7 On baking pan, in oven, toast pecan halves for about 7 mins.
  • Step #8 remove this from oven & drizzle with honey.
  • Step #9 Coat with sugar.
  • Step #10 Set aside.
  • Step #11 Remove dough from refrigerator & roll this into 3/8-inch thickness.
  • Step #12 Cut into 4-inch disks.
  • Step #13 bake this until light brown, about 12 to 15 mins.
  • Step #14 On plate place cookies in a circle.
  • Step #15 Arrange bananas around cookies.
  • Step #16 Dust bananas with sugar & caramelize with a propane torch.
  • Step #17 Place honey sugar pecans in center & top this with vanilla ice cream.
