Ingredients
  • 2 ts Onion powder
  • 6 tb Black pepper
  • 1 ts Cayenne
  • 6 tb Salt
  • 4 ts Paprika
  • 2 ts Ground black pepper
  • 6 ts Chili powder
  • 2 ts Salt

Directions
  • Step #1 ~---SAUCE----- 4 c ketchup 4 c white vinegar 4 c water 1 large yellow onion -- sliced 1/2 c sorghum molasses DRY RUB DIRECTIONS: Mix in jar, cover & shake well to mix.
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top rub liberally over & into the surface.
  • Step #3 RIB SMOKING DIRECTIONS: Prepare smoker for long, slow cooking using hickory, mesquite is also very good.
  • Step #4 Some people prefer to do back ribs using some of the wood of the fruit trees, pear, apple, etc.
  • Step #5 BBQ SAUCE DIRECTIONS: mix all ingredients in a large saucepan.
  • Step #6 Bring to a gentle simmer.
