Barbecued Chicken And Celery Brochette With Pineapple And Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Dijon mustard 50 mL
  • 3 Onions; sliced 3
  • 1/2 c Chili sauce 125 mL
  • 1 c Water 250 mL
  • 1/2 ts Freshly ground pepper 2 mL
  • 1 ts Tabasco sauce 5 mL
  • 1 c Ketchup 250 mL
  • 2 tb Vinegar 25 mL
  • 1 Brisket 1;
  • 2 Cloves garlic; minced 2
  • 1 cn sliced green chiles 1;
  • 1 tb Worcestershire sauce 15 mL

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350F/180C.
  • Step #2 Pat the brisket dry.
  • Step #3 Place the onions in the bottom of a roasting pan & sit the brisket on top.
  • Step #4 mix the remaining ingredients & pour over the top of the meat.
  • Step #5 Cover tightly & roast for 3 1/2 hrs.
  • Step #6 Every hr, remove the lid & add extra water if the pan is getting dry.
  • Step #7 There should always be at least 1 c/250 mL liquid in the bottom of the pan.
  • Step #8 After 3 1/2 hrs, remove the lid & return to the oven for 20 to 30 mins until brown.
