Basic Curry Mix For Four Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lg Egg
  • 3/4 c 1% low-fat milk
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Flour
  • 2 lg Egg whites

Directions
  • Step #1 mix flour & salt in a bowl.
  • Step #2 mix milk, egg whites, & egg in a bowl; stir well with a whisk.
  • Step #3 slowly add to flour mixture, stirring with a whisk until smooth.
  • Step #4 Place an 8-inch crepe pan or skillet over med-heat/flame until hot.
  • Step #5 Pour a scant 1/4 c batter into pan; quickly tilt pan in all directions so batter covers pan with a thin film.
  • Step #6 Cook about 1 to 2 mins.
  • Step #7 Carefully lift the edge of the crepe with a spatula to test for doneness.
  • Step #8 The crepe is ready to turn when it can be shaken loose from the pan & the underside is slightly browned.
  • Step #9 Turn crepe over, and cook for 15 seconds on other side.
  • Step #10 Place crepe on a towel; cool.
  • Step #11 Repeat procedure until all of the batter is used, stirring batter between crepes.
  • Step #12 Stack crepes between single layers of wax paper or paper towels to prevent sticking.
  • Step #13 NOTES : 1 crepe = 1 point.
