Basic Pie Crust Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Cloves garlic
  • 1/2 c Toasted pistachio nuts
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 c Fresh tightly packed basil leaves
  • 1/3 c Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 c Olive oil; up to 1/2, up to

Directions
  • Step #1 In a food processor/blender, pack the basil leaves, garlic & nuts and process just until the mixture is sliced.
  • Step #2 With the motor running, add the oil through the feed tube until the mixture is as thick as you like.
  • Step #3 Fold in the grated cheese & a little salt & pepper if you like.
  • Step #4 store this in the fridge in a glass jar, covered with a little extra olive oil, for about 2 months.
