Ingredients
  • 4 sl Country-style white bread;
  • 1/2 bn Arugula
  • 2 lg Tomato slices
  • 4 Thin slices red onion
  • Vegetable oil
  • 2 oz Gorgonzola cheese or other blue cheese
  • 12 oz Lean ground chuck

Directions
  • Step #1 Form beef into four 3-inch-diameter patties.
  • Step #2 Form cheese into two 1 1/2-inch rounds; place cheese atop two beef patties.
  • Step #3 Top each with another beef patty, sealing at edges.
  • Step #4 Spice up this with pepper.
  • Step #5 Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler.
  • Step #6 Brush barbecue rack with vegetable oil.
  • Step #7 Grill burgers until charred outside but still juicy, about 3 mins per side.
  • Step #8 Grill bread slices until lightly toasted, about 1 min per side.
  • Step #9 Place each burger on 1 bread slice.
  • Step #10 top this with tomato, onion, arugula & another bread slice & serve.
  • Step #11 2 Servings; can be doubled.
