Berry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c Castor sugar
  • 2 Oranges; juice of
  • 1 Lemon; juice of
  • 250 g Rasberries; blueberries, blackberries
  • 250 g Ripe strawberries;

Directions
  • Step #1 Wash & hull strawberries.
  • Step #2 In a food processor/blender, mix the berries to a puree with the orange and lemon juice & the sugar.
  • Step #3 Strain the puree & discard any seeds.
  • Step #4 Pour the preparation into an ice-cream machine.
  • Step #5 Churn the sorbet and, when it is ready, transfer it to a pre-chilled mould or bowl covered with a lid or plastic film & place this in the freezer.
  • Step #6 It keeps well for 2 to 3 days.
