Bobby's Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tb Ancho chile powder
  • 2 Cloves garlic; finely sliced
  • 3 tb Unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tb Dijon mustard
  • 2 ts Paprika
  • 1 ts Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 c Ketchup
  • 2 tb Dark brown sugar
  • 6 Plum tomatoes; coarsely sliced
  • 1/2 md Red onion; finely sliced
  • 1 tb Honey

Directions
  • Step #1 How to Prepare the BBQ Sauce: 1.
  • Step #2 In a large saucepan over med-heat/flame, add the onion & garlic, melt the butter, cover & cook for 5 mins, or until translucent.
  • Step #3 2.
  • Step #4 Add the tomatoes & let simmer for 15 mins.
  • Step #5 Add the remaining ingredients & let simmer for 20 mins.
  • Step #6 3.
  • Step #7 Puree the mixture in a food processor/blender, pour this into a bowl, & allow to cool at about room temp.
  • Step #8 How to Prepare the Seafood/Meat/Chicken: 1.
  • Step #9 Two hrs before cooking, brush the seafood, meat or chicken on both sides with the BBQ sauce & put in the fridge.
  • Step #10 2.
  • Step #11 Prepare a charcoal or wood fire & allow it to burn down to embers, or preheat the broiler.
  • Step #12 Grill until your selected seafood, meat or chicken is completely covered.
  • Step #13 Brush again with barbecue sauce & serve as soon as possible.
