Ingredients
  • 1/2 ts DRY MUSTARD
  • 1 ts SALT
  • 1/2 c SALT PORK OR HAM
  • 1 ea ONION WHOLE OR sliced
  • 2 c DRIED NAVY BEANS
  • 3 tb BROWN SUGAR
  • 2 tb CATSUP
  • 3 tb MOLASSES

Directions
  • Step #1 SOAK BEANS OVERNIGHT.
  • Step #2 DISCARD WATER.
  • Step #3 HEAT PAN & FRY PORK OR HAM AND DISCARD EXCESS FAT.
  • Step #4 ADD BEAN & OTHER INGREDIENTS, COVER WITH ENOUGH WATER TO WELL COVER.
  • Step #5 IF USING PRESSURE COOKER BRING UP PRESSURE AND REDUCE HEAT TO LOW & COOK FOR 45 mins.
  • Step #6 IF USING SLOW COOKER COVER & COOK FOR 10 TO 12 hrs ON LOW OR 4 TO 5 hrs ON HIGH.
