Boston Market Cinnamon Apples Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lg Jalapeno chilies; sliced, up to 2
  • Sour cream
  • 1/2 c Dry red wine
  • sliced fresh cilantro
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb Beef stew meat; cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tb Vegetable oil
  • 1 cn Whole tomatoes; sliced, liquid reserved
  • 2 tb Ground cumin
  • 2 Green bell peppers; sliced
  • 1 cn Black beans; drained
  • 1/3 c Chili powder
  • 2 lg Onions; sliced
  • 3 Garlic cloves; minced
  • 2 lb Boneless pork butt or boneless; cut into1-inch country-style spareribs, cubes
  • sliced red onions

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil in large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Add 2 onions, bell peppers & garlic & saute until tender, about 14 mins.
  • Step #3 Transfer mixture to plate, using slotted spoon.
  • Step #4 Add beef & pork to Dutch oven & cook over medium-high heat until no longer pink, stirring every once in awhile, about 10 mins.
  • Step #5 Return onion mixture to Dutch oven.
  • Step #6 Add tomatoes with liquid, chili powder, jalapenos & cumin.
  • Step #7 Spice up with salt & pepper.
  • Step #8 Cover Dutch oven & let simmer until beef & pork are almost tender, stirring every once in awhile, about 1 hr.
  • Step #9 Add black beans & red wine to chili.
  • Step #10 Simmer uncovered until beef & pork are tender & chili thickens, about 30 mins.
  • Step #11 Adjust Spice uping.
  • Step #12 Ladle into bowls.
  • Step #13 Serve, cilantro, passing cheese, red onions & sour cream separately.
  • Step #14 Serves 10.
