Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 350F.
Step #2 mix first 3 ingredients in 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step #3 Cover tightly with foil & bake this until cranberries are tender & sugar is dissolved, stirring once, about 1 hr.
Step #4 remove this from oven & stir in the bourbon.
Step #5 put in the fridge cranberry sauce until well chilled.
Step #6 (Can be prepared 1 week ahead.
Step #7 ) Transfer to bowl & serve.
