3 lg Cloves Garlic; Minced
1/3 c Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese; Preferably Imported
1 1/4 c Canned Or Homemade Vegetable Broth;
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 lb Bow Tie Pasta; cooked
Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tb Olive Oil
2 lg Stalks Broccoli; florets separated from stems, stems, peeled, thinly sliced
1 lg Sweet Red Peppers; sliced
Red Pepper Flakes
Directions
Step #1 Heat oil in 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Step #2 Add garlic, broccoli stems & salt.
Step #3 Cook, about 2 mins, uncovered, until very hot, stirring often.
Step #4 Add broccoli florets, sweet red pepper & 1 1/4 c vegetable broth.
Step #5 Bring to boil.
Step #6 Simmer 1 min.
Step #7 Add pasta.
Step #8 Simmer, until pasta is hot & broccoli is just beginning to be tender, uncovered, about 3 mins, adding more broth as needed.
Step #9 Add cheese & red pepper flakes.
Step #10 Toss well.
Step #11 Heat through, about 1 min.
Step #12 Adjust Spice upings to taste.
Step #13 Serve hot.
Step #14 Pass extra cheese separately.
Step #15 Makes 2 to 3 servings.
