Brown Rice, Corn And Grilled Vegetable Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 Bay leaves; crumbled
  • 750 ml Water; about
  • 375 g Long-grain brown rice;
  • 50 g Butter;
  • 1 ts Salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt the butter with the bay leaves in a large, heavy saucepan over a low heat.
  • Step #2 Add the water & salt & bring to the boil.
  • Step #3 Add the rice, cover tightly & turn the heat to low.
  • Step #4 Cook for 45 mins, or until all the water has been absorbed & the rice is just tender adding more water if necessary.
