Brown Sugar Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 lg Firm but ripe pears; , peeled, halved, cored, each half cut lengthwise into 6 slices
  • 4 ts Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 c Unsalted butter;
  • 1/2 c Golden brown sugar;

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Add brown sugar; stir 1 min.
  • Step #3 Add pear slices & lemon juice; cook this until pears begin to release juice & syrup forms in skillet, turning pear slices frequently, about 3 mins.
  • Step #4 (Can be made 2 hrs ahead.
  • Step #5 Let stand at about room temp.
  • Step #6 Rewarm before using.
