Brownie Tarts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 c Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 c Vegetable Oil
  • 3 lg Egg Whites
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/4 c Plain Nonfat Yogurt
  • 1/2 c All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 c Unsweetened Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tb Skim Milk
  • Vegetable Cooking Spray
  • 1/4 ts Baking Powder
  • 3/4 c Granulated Sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 375?.
  • Step #2 mix first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl; beat at medium speed of a mixer until well-mixed.
  • Step #3 mix flour, 1/2 c cocoa, salt, & baking powder; stir well.
  • Step #4 Add flour mixture to sugar mixture, beating just until mixed.
  • Step #5 Pour batter into 9-inch round cake pan coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #6 bake this at 375? for 25 mins or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step #7 Cool in pan 10 mins; remove this from pan, & cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Step #8 mix powdered sugar & milk; beat at lowish speed until smooth.
  • Step #9 Spread 1/2 c powdered sugar glaze over top of cake.
  • Step #10 Add 1 tsp cocoa to remaining sugar mixture, stirring with a whisk until mixed.
  • Step #11 Spoon into a small zip-top plastic bag.
  • Step #12 Snip off corner of bag, making a small hole.
  • Step #13 Starting in the center of the cake, pipe frosting in 4 concentric circles.
  • Step #14 Starting at center circle, pull a wooden toothpick or tip of a knife through circles at regular intervals to edge of cake to form a "web" design.
