Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 140 g Dark cooking chocolate
  • 4 Eggs
  • 100 g sliced walnuts
  • 2 tb Cocoa powder
  • 160 g Flour
  • 220 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter

Directions
  • Step #1 1 Melt the chocolate in a bain marie, add the butter, whip for two mins & cool.
  • Step #2 Separate the whites & yolks.
  • Step #3 2 Beat the yolks & sugar together & add the chocolate mixture.
  • Step #4 In a bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff & carefully fold into the chocolate & egg mix.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top the sifted flour & cocoa powder on top & mix in carefully.
  • Step #6 Add the nuts & pour this into a greased tin about 12x8" or an 8" round tin.
  • Step #7 3 Bake for 20 mins at 180c.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top with cocoa powder & icing sugar & serve this with whipped cream, ice cream or even yoghurt.
