Cabbage Apple Supper Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb Ground Turkey Breast
  • 28 oz Spaghetti sauce
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 lb Cabbage; shredded
  • 1/4 ts Spice uped salt
  • 1 md Onion; sliced
  • 1/2 c Water
  • 1/4 ts Dried basil
  • 1 c Long-grain white rice
  • 1/2 ts Garlic powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Place half of cabbage on bottom of crockpot.
  • Step #2 Crumble ground turkey (do not brown first) over top.
  • Step #3 Sprinkle top with salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 Evenly distribute onion & rice over all.
  • Step #5 top this with remaining cabbage, salt & pepper & garlic powder.
  • Step #6 mix spaghetti sauce, water, basil and Spice uped salt.
  • Step #7 Pour over cabbage.
  • Step #8 Cover & cook, on low, for 5-6 hrs.
  • Step #9 Makes 6 servings.
  • Step #10 My Notes: This did not freeze as well as I thought it would.
