Ingredients
  • 3 Carrots -;
  • Salt; to taste
  • Parmesan cheese; to taste
  • 2 tb Butter
  • Freshly-ground black pepper; to taste
  • 1 c Frozen peas; thawed
  • Water
  • Toasted bread crumbs

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel the carrots & using the peeler, make long ribbons.
  • Step #2 Put the carrot ribbons in a skillet with 1/4-inch of water & the butter.
  • Step #3 Cook covered until tender, cheese, add the peas, salt & pepper and bread crumbs.
  • Step #4 Serve as a main dish for children & a side dish for grownups.
