Chicken Liver Pilav Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Fresh chicken livers
  • 1/2 lb Pork sausages
  • 1 ts Whisky
  • 3 tb Double thick cream
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tb Port
  • 1/2 lb Streaky smoked bacon
  • 1/4 lb Butter
  • 1 lg Onion
  • Salt to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 Lightly fry onion in butter.
  • Step #2 Add chicken livers & sausages & seal them.
  • Step #3 Put all these into a mixer.
  • Step #4 Add all the other ingredients.
  • Step #5 When mixed put into earthenware pots.
  • Step #6 Cover with streaky bacon.
  • Step #7 Cook in bain marie (pots in hot water) for 1 hr in a slow oven.
