Step #1 After the chickpeas are cooked & drained, with the cooking liquid reserved, stir in the 1/4 c raisins & one 10-oz package frozen sliced spinach, defrosted.
Step #2 Heat thoroughly, adding about 1/3 c of the reserved cooking liquid, if needed.
Step #3 Adjust Spice upings (adding a touch of curry powder or extra ground coriander), & serve hot.
