Chili Glazed Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tb Black pepper
  • 1/2 c Fresh parsley, sliced
  • 8 lb Beef mince
  • 1/2 c Burgundy wine
  • 1/2 c Dijon mustard
  • 4 tb Salt
  • 2 lb Sweet Italian sausage meat removed from casings
  • 6 tb Ground cumin
  • 3 tb Fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c Olive oil
  • 8 tb Chili powder
  • 1/4 c Lemon juice
  • 1/8 c Fresh dill, sliced
  • 1 3/4 lb Onions, sliced coarse
  • 4 tb Dried basil
  • 3 1/2 cn Italian plum tomatoes, 28 oz ea, drained
  • 4 tb Dried oregano
  • 2 cn Tomato paste, 12 oz each
  • 3 cn Dark red kidney beans, 5 1/2oz ea, drained

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat olive oil in a very large soup kettle.
  • Step #2 Add onions & cook over low heat, covered, until tender & translucent, about 10 mins.
  • Step #3 Crumble the sausage meat & mince into the kettle & cook over medium high heat, stirring often, until meats are well browned.
  • Step #4 Spoon out as much excess fat as possible.
  • Step #5 over low heat/flame stir in the black pepper, cumin, tomato paste, salt, chili powder, mustard, garlic, basil & oregano.
  • Step #6 Add drained tomatoes, wine, dill, lemon juice, parsley & kidney beans.
  • Step #7 Stir well & let simmer, uncovered, for another 15 mins.
  • Step #8 Taste & correct Spice uping.
  • Step #9 Serve hot with bowls of sour cream, sliced onion & grated cheddar cheese.
  • Step #10 You can also put out slices of french bread or corn muffins.
