Chili Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
  • Vegetable oil for brushing the tortillas
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 1/2 c Grated Monterey Jack;
  • 1 tb Chili powder
  • 16 Corn tortillas
  • 1/2 ts Dried oregano; crumbled

Directions
  • Step #1 Brush the tortillas lightly on one side with the oil.
  • Step #2 In a small bowl mix well the chili powder, Sprinkle top the mixture over the tortillas, & the oregano, the salt, & scatter the Monterey Jack on top.
  • Step #3 Cut each tortilla into fourths with a pizza wheel or sharp knife, arrange the wedges on 2 large baking sheets, & bake them in a preheated 400F.
  • Step #4 oven for 12 to 15 mins, or until they are golden & crisp.
  • Step #5 Makes about 1/2 lb.
