Chilman Biryani Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 2 tb Macaroni
  • 1 pt Cream
  • 1 qt Potatoes; peeled & sliced
  • 3 Onions
  • 2 tb Rice
  • 1 lg Carrot; sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Amish Cooking, Crescent Books In a kettle of rapidly boiling water, cook the carrot while you are cleaning & chopping the onions.
  • Step #2 Add them to the stew kettle, salt, macaroni, rice, along with the potatoes, & enough water to cover the ingredients.
  • Step #3 Cook them slowly until they are tender.
  • Step #4 When ready to serve, add the cream, or substitute butter & milk.
  • Step #5 Let it mix thoroughly, do not boil the stew again.
  • Step #6 Serve it with crackers or hot toast.
