Choco-lato Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tb Drinking chocolate
  • 3 tb Milk
  • 1/4 tb Vanilla essence or cochineal
  • 8 sl Milk bread;
  • 1 tb Sugar;
  • FOR LAYER 1---
  • 1 tb Instant coffee

Directions
  • Step #1 FOR LAYER 2--- 1/2 l Vanilla ice cream 1 tb Gelatine crystals 1/2 c Water 1 tb Curd 2 tb Sugar 1 tb Grated milk chocolate Chocolate sauce; (optional) Layer 1: Break bread & place this in a dry-grind mixie.
  • Step #2 Add the chocolate powder, coffee, icing sugar & essence.
  • Step #3 mix to get fine crumbs.
  • Step #4 Rinse a casserole with cold water.
  • Step #5 Put the crumbs in & press down evenly & lightly by hand.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top the milk over it & allow to set in chiller for 1 hr.
  • Step #7 Layer 2: Take water in a thick crucible & Sprinkle top the sugar & gelatine over it.
  • Step #8 Leave undisturbed for 5-7 mins.
  • Step #9 Warm over very low flame or over a hot griddle, stirring continuously till no crystals are left & water is clear.
  • Step #10 Beat ice cream over a tray of chilled water of ice cubes.
  • Step #11 Add curds, gelatine solution & stir, Keep stirring till thick & creamy.
  • Step #12 Pour over the bread layer.
  • Step #13 Allow to set in freezer & decorate with grated chocolate.
  • Step #14 serve this with chocolate sauce.
