Chocolate Chunk Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c All-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 c HERSHEY'S Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks
  • 1 c Packed light brown sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 c Coarsely sliced pecans
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1 c Butter or margarine; softened
  • 1 ts Vanilla extract

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step #2 Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
  • Step #3 In large mixer bowl, egg yolk, brown sugar, stir this together butter, & vanilla; lend in flour & salt.
  • Step #4 Press mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Step #5 Bake 25 to 30 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #6 remove this from oven; as soon as possible Sprinkle top chocolate chunks on crust.
  • Step #7 Let stand until softened, about 5 mins; spread evenly over crust.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top pecans over top.
  • Step #9 Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  • Step #10 Cut into bars.
  • Step #11 about 36 bars.
