Ingredients
  • 16 oz Milk chocolate frosting
  • 8 oz Frozen whipped topping, thaw
  • 3 tb Pistachios,sliced+roasted
  • 1 c Chocolate chips, melted,
  • 1 pk Dark Fudge Cake Mix

Directions
  • Step #1 Duncan Hines Dark Dutch Fudge Cake Mix, please.
  • Step #2 Duncan Hines Milk Chocolate Frosting, please.
  • Step #3 1.
  • Step #4 preheat your trusty oven to 350 F.
  • Step #5 grease & flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • Step #6 2.
  • Step #7 Prepare, bake & cool cake following package directions.
  • Step #8 3.
  • Step #9 FOR CHOCOLATE HEARTS GARNISH: Spread melted chocolate to 1/8 inch thickness on waxed paper lined cookie sheet.
  • Step #10 Cut shapes with heart cookie cutter when chocolate begins to set.
  • Step #11 Refirgerate until firm.
  • Step #12 Push out heart shapes.
  • Step #13 set aside.

  • Step #15 Split each cake layer in half horizontally.
  • Step #16 Spread one third whipped topping on first layer.
  • Step #17 Place second layer on filling.
  • Step #18 Repeat with remaining layers.
  • Step #19 Spread milk choclate frosting on sides & top of cake.
  • Step #20 : Sprinkle top pistachios around edges.
  • Step #21 Position chocolate hearts by pushing points down into cake.
