Chocolate Grand Marnier Trifle Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 2 oz Unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 3/4 c Goat milk
  • 1 ts Light corn syrup

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt chocolate in milk.
  • Step #2 Add sugar & corn syrup; cook slowly, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
  • Step #3 Cook carefully to softball stage(234 degrees), stirring frequently.
  • Step #4 remove this from heat; add butter & cool at about room temp until lukewarm(110 degrees) without stirring.
  • Step #5 Add vanilla; beat vigorously until fudge becomes very thick & loses its gloss.
  • Step #6 Quickly spread in butter pan.
  • Step #7 When firm, cut into squares.
