Chocolate Snickerdoodles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Sugar
  • 3/4 c Sugar
  • 2 tb Cinnamon
  • 1/4 c Cocoa; plus 2 Tbls
  • 1 1/2 c Flour
  • 2 c Rolled oats
  • 1 c Margarine; soft
  • 3/4 c Brown sugar
  • 1 ts Baking soda
  • 2 Eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step #2 Lightly grease cookie sheet.
  • Step #3 Beat margarine, & sugars until fluffy, add eggs & beat until well mixed & fluffy.
  • Step #4 mix the dry ingredients, & add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
  • Step #5 Chill dough a few hrs.
  • Step #6 than roll in the 2 tbs, sugar, cinnamon & cocoa.
  • Step #7 Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Step #8 Bake 8-10 mins (do not over bake) I also rolled some in the red & green sugar & kids loved them.
  • Step #9 Cool on racks.
