Chow Mein Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Hamburger
  • 2 tb Oil
  • 1/2 c sliced carrots
  • 1 tb Minced garlic
  • 1/4 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 c sliced tomato
  • 2 c Quick rice

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 In a saucepan, bring 3 c of water to a boil, then add hamburger and garlic.
  • Step #3 Boil for 20 mins.
  • Step #4 Drain & set aside.
  • Step #5 In another saucepan, bring 3 c of water to a boil & add the rice & carrots.
  • Step #6 Turn heat down & let simmer for 10 mins.
  • Step #7 remove this from heat, drain & set aside to cool.
  • Step #8 Next, mix tomato & egg together with cooled rice & carrots, hamburger & garlic & spread in a 9 by 13-inch casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top top this with Parmesan cheese & bake 20 to 25 mins or until golden brown.
