Chutney Dressing For Apple Cider Mold Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • Mace; fennel seed, mustard seed, 2 bay leaves, & 2 tbsps salt
  • Bouquet garni - 5 peppercorns; 4 coriander, 5 allspice, celery seed, pinch
  • 5 Plum tomatoes
  • 3 1/2 c Brown sugar
  • 15 Dates or prunes; sliced
  • 5 Peeled Granny Smith apples; largely sliced
  • 1 1/2 c White vinegar; added 1/2 c at a time
  • 3 tb Coleman's mustard
  • 2 tb Ginger; sliced
  • 2 Cloves garlic; sliced
  • 2 c Golden raisins
  • 2 sm Onions; sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 mix all ingredients.
  • Step #2 Cook over med-heat/flame for approximately 40 mins.
