Ingredients
4 c chicken broth
4 slices crisp cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 c water
2 tbsps cornstarch
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp sherry
1/2 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast meat - finely sliced
1 (14.75 oz) can cream-style corn
2 tsps soy sauce
Directions
Step #1 Mince chicken.
Step #2 Mix together with sherry, salt, & egg whites in a large mixing bowl.
Step #3 Add cream style corn, & mix well to mix.
Step #4 Preheat a wok or large frying pan to medium high.
Step #5 Add chicken broth & soy sauce, & bring to a boil.
Step #6 Add chicken mixture, & return to boil.
Step #7 Reduce heat.
Step #8 Simmer for 3 mins, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Step #9 In a c, mix together water & cornstarch until well mixed.
Step #10 Add cornstarch mixture to simmering soup, stirring constantly.
Step #11 Cook for an extra 2 mins; soup will thicken slightly.
Step #12 Crumble cooked bacon over individual servings.
