Chicken Supremei Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c dry sherry
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1/2 c light whipping cream
  • 1 tsp dried tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (6 oz) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp sliced fresh cilantro
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  • Step #3 Heat the butter or margarine & oil in a 9x13 inch baking dish & add the chicken.
  • Step #4 Coat the chicken with the butter or margarine mixture & bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 mins or until breasts just cooked (the center should still be slightly pink).
  • Step #5 In a medium saucepan over med-heat/flame, tarragon, sherry, cream, Worcestershire sauce, cilantro, warm the soup, garlic powder & mushrooms.
  • Step #6 Pour sherry cream mixture over the baked chicken, return to oven uncovered & bake for an extra 15 to 20 mins.
  • Step #7 Let cool slightly & serve.
