Cranberry Glazed Bird In A Bird Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pk Fresh or frozen cranberries;
  • 1 1/2 ts Grated orange peel
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 c Water

Directions
  • Step #1 mix cranberries & sugar in processor.
  • Step #2 Using on/off turns, coarsely chop cranberries.
  • Step #3 Transfer mixture to heavy medium saucepan.
  • Step #4 Add 1 c water & orange peel & bring to boil, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #5 Reduce heat; simmer until mixture is reduced to 2 1/3 c, stirring every once in awhile, about 10 mins.
  • Step #6 Cool to room temperature.
  • Step #7 Cover; chill overnight or up to 2 days (mixture will thicken).
  • Step #8 Makes about 2 1/3 c.
