Step #1 Cover tray with wax paper.
Step #2 In medium microwave safe bowl, place chocolate chips, vanilla milk chips & shortening.
Step #3 Microwave at high (100%) 1 min; stir.
Step #4 If necessary, microwave at High addtional 30 seconds or until chips are melted & mixture is smooth when stirred vigorously.
Step #5 Holding by top, dip bottom two-thirds of each strawberry into melted mixture; shake carefully to remove excess.
Step #6 Place on prepared tray.
Step #7 Cover; put in the fridge until coating is firm, about 1 hr.
Step #8 Cover; put in the fridge leftover dipped berries.
Step #9 For best results, use within 24 hrs.
Step #10 Yield: About 3 dozen coated berries.
