Creamy Fruit Mold Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Stick butter
  • 2 tb Fresh cilantro;
  • 1/2 lb White button mushrooms; sliced
  • 2 c Milk
  • 2 tb Flour
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 1/4 c Cream sherry
  • 1/8 ts Mace
  • Salt & white pepper;

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large saucepan, place the stick of butter & heat it on medium until it is melted & bubbly.
  • Step #2 Add the flour & stir it in for 3 mins.
  • Step #3 While stirring constantly, slowly add the milk.
  • Step #4 Cook and stir the mixture for 5 mins, or until it thickens.

  • Step #11 Add the mushrooms & saute them for 5 mins, or until they are tender.
  • Step #12 Add the sauteed mushrooms to the milk mixture.
  • Step #13 Cook the soup on low heat until it begins to simmer.
  • Step #14 Add the mace, salt, sherry, & white pepper.
  • Step #15 Mix them in well.
  • Step #16 Garnish each serving with the cilantro.
  • Step #17 Serves: 4 to 6.
