Creamy Kiss Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 lg Waxy potatoes; peeled and cut into 1/8-inch thick slices
  • 2 c Heavy cream
  • 3 Cloves garlic; finely sliced
  • 2 tb Unsalted butter; softened
  • Salt & fresh ground pepper; to taste
  • 3/4 c Prepared horseradish; drained

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Preheat the oven to 400F F.
  • Step #3 Butter the bottom & sides of a 10-inch cast-iron skillet with the butter.
  • Step #4 2.
  • Step #5 Arrange a layer of potato slices on the bottom of the skillet.
  • Step #6 Spice up this with salt & pepper to taste & cover with half of the horseradish.
  • Step #7 3.
  • Step #8 Coat with half of the heavy cream.
  • Step #9 Repeat to yield 3 layers of potatoes, ending with potatoes.
  • Step #10 Bake, for 15 mins, uncovered, or until the top begins to brown.
  • Step #11 4.
  • Step #12 Cover with foil & bake for another 30 mins, or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Step #13 Let sit 10 mins before serving.
