Creamy Polenta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Freshly sliced parsley
  • 2 Cloves garlic; crushed
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 4 Plaice fillets
  • 1 200 millilit creme fraiche;
  • 2 ts Cornflour mixed with cold water
  • 25 g Butter;
  • 1/4 ts Paprika
  • 125 g Button mushrooms; quartered
  • Freshly sliced parsley to garnish

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat half the butter in a large frying pan, add 1 clove of garlic and 2 plaice fillets & cook for 2 mins on each side.
  • Step #2 remove this from the pan, transfer to a warmed serving dish & keep warm.
  • Step #3 Repeat with the remaining butter, garlic & plaice.
  • Step #4 remove this from the pan & keep warm.
  • Step #5 Add the salad onions & mushrooms to the pan, parsley, cook for 3-4 mins then add the creme fraiche, paprika, mixed cornflour and Spice uping.
  • Step #6 Cook for a further 3-4 mins, until just boiling.
  • Step #7 Spoon over the cooked plaice & garnish with the parsley.
