Creamy Rice Pudding With Almonds And Raisins Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 oz Caster sugar;
  • 3 Schwartz Bay Leaves
  • 1 oz Butter;
  • 1 1/2 pt Jersey or breakfast milk;
  • Schwartz Whole Nutmeg - to grate
  • 1 3 oz sho grain pudding rice;

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 400F, 200C, Gas Mark 6.
  • Step #2 Place the rice, sugar, Bay Leaves & milk in a large ovenproof dish.
  • Step #3 Cut the butter into small pieces & add to the dish.
  • Step #4 Stir well & Sprinkle top with freshly grated Nutmeg.
  • Step #5 Bake for 30 mins.
  • Step #6 Reduce the temperature to 325F, Gas Mark 3, 170C, & cook for another 1 1/2 hrs or until most of the milk has been absorbed.
