Crisp Bizcochitos Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Jar crunchy salsa
  • Lite cheese
  • 1 c Instant potato flakes
  • 1 c Vegetable broth
  • 1/2 ts Each ground black pepper and garlic powder
  • 1 c shredded Jarlsberg

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 375?F.
  • Step #2 Mix cheese, potato flakes & Spice upings well, add broth & mix.
  • Step #3 For a lacy, "break off" dipper, Sprinkle top mixture evenly on a parchment-lined (or use foil, crispy, lightly oil-sprayed) 10 x 10 inch baking sheet & bake 25 mins or until brown around the edges.
  • Step #4 Break into free-form pieces.
  • Step #5 For a solid, square, flexible cracker-type dipper, spread on a parchment-lined (or oil-sprayed foil) 10x10 inch baking sheet.
  • Step #6 Pat down with clean hands to make an even layer.
  • Step #7 Bake 35 mins or until beginning to brown.
  • Step #8 Invert on wire rack, peel off parchment or foil & replace this in oven to bake another 10 mins.
  • Step #9 Cut into 2 inch squares.
  • Step #10 serve this with your favorite salsa.
  • Step #11 Yield: 25 pieces.
