Crispy Gingered Spareribs Recipe

Ingredients
  • Freshly-ground black pepper; to taste
  • 16 Garlic cloves; sliced thinly
  • 1/2 c Chicken stock
  • Cut into 2" pieces
  • 1 lg Black truffle; sliced
  • 1 lg Choy sum head; washed, and
  • Salt; to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 In a hot wok, coat with canola oil & brown the garlic.
  • Step #2 Add the choy sum & Spice up.
  • Step #3 Add chicken stock & cook for only 3 mins.
  • Step #4 Plate up & cover with truffles.
  • Step #5 The steam of the dish will heat the truffles to release its oil & flavor.
  • Step #6 If using the shiitakes, add them after the garlic, before adding the choy sum.
  • Step #7 Garnish with truffle oil.
  • Step #8 This recipe yields 4 servings.
