Cristina's Canned Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Garlic clove - minced
  • 1 Onion - sliced thin
  • 1 c Low-fat plain yogurt
  • 12 oz Sirloin steak; cut into strips
  • 1/4 c Parsley - sliced 2 c cooked fettucini
  • 1 c White mushrooms - sliced
  • 8 Shitake mushrooms - sliced
  • 3 tb Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 ---SAUCE------ 1 c Evaporated skim milk 1 tb Cornstarch 1 pk Instant onion/mushroom soup -mix Directions: Sauce - Whisk together the milk & cornstarch over low heat until smooth.
  • Step #2 stir in the soup mix & bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Step #3 remove this from heat & set aside.
  • Step #4 In a large skillet heat the oil.
  • Step #5 Add the garlic & onion.
  • Step #6 Saut? lightly & add the beef.
  • Step #7 Cook over high heat for about 2 mins.
  • Step #8 Add the mushrooms & saut? until tender.
  • Step #9 Reduce the heat & stir in the the sauce, yogurt & parsley.
  • Step #10 Do not overheat, as the yogurt will curdle.
  • Step #11 Serve over noodles.
