Ingredients
  • 2 tb Unsalted butter
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 2 c Cooked white rice
  • 2 lb Fresh asparagus
  • 1/2 Lemon; Juice of
  • Salt & black pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 In a deep wide frying pan cook asparagus in water over high heat until spears are tender.
  • Step #2 Drain.
  • Step #3 Cut spears into thirds.
  • Step #4 Melt butter in frying pan & add lemon juice.
  • Step #5 Grate in nutmeg.
  • Step #6 Add salt & black pepper.
  • Step #7 Place asparagus in mixing bowl with rice.
  • Step #8 pour the sauce over & toss well.
  • Step #9 Adjust Spice uping to taste.
  • Step #10 Approximately 6-8 mins.
