Bacon And Blue Cheese Salad With Caesar Dressing Recipe

Ingredients
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 300F ml Milk;
  • 150 g Mozarella cheese; sliced
  • 25 g Butter;
  • 25 g Plain flour;
  • 125 g Mushrooms; sliced
  • 1 Clove garlic; crushed
  • 250 g Dried fettucine or tagliatelle;
  • 350 g Unsmoked; back bacon rashers, de-rinded and sliced
  • 75 g Blue cheese; , crumbled

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 preheat your trusty oven to 180?C/350?F/Gas Mark 4.
  • Step #3 2.
  • Step #4 In a large saucepan, melt the butter, add the bacon & garlic and cook this until lightly browned.
  • Step #5 Add the mushrooms & cook for a further 1-2 mins.
  • Step #6 stir in the the flour.
  • Step #7 3.
  • Step #8 remove this from the heat, & slowly add the milk.
  • Step #9 Return the pan to the heat, stirring constantly until a smooth, & bring to the boil, glossy sauce has formed.
  • Step #10 stir in the the blue cheese and Spice uping.

  • Step #12 Meanwhile, cook pasta following instructions on the pack.
  • Step #13 When cooked drain, & stir in theto the sauce.
  • Step #14 Transfer to an ovenproof dish.
  • Step #15 Sprinkle top with Mozarella cheese & cook in the preheated oven for 10-15 mins until browned & serve this with a mixed green salad.
